This was a commission request from a client who wanted a MSV-styled custom coloured Gelgoog for their Gundam OC. The colour scheme was designed by the client with some slight alterations by myself to make it a bit more balanced and pleasing to the eye.
The prototype beam rifle is from my old and now defunct Gato’s Gelgoog 1.0 that I built about 10 years ago. I felt it would look much better on this kit than gathering dust in my closet.
Painting
Colour used are from the Mr Color range unless specified
Black – Base coat Ueno Black, white is added into mix for highlights
Orange – Base coat Orange, white + bit of yellow is added into mix for highlights
Light Orange – Base coat Orange (60%) + Cool White (40%), White + bit of yellow added for highlights
Internals – SMS Gunmetal / Tamiya Gunmetal
